RIKEN BDR Symposium Travel Grant

RIKEN BDR Symposium Travel Grant is a program to support the travel and lodging expenses of young researchers (including graduate students, non-PI scientists) who are attending the RIKEN BDR Symposium.

We hope that this program will encourage exchanges between researchers across generations. We look forward to receiving many applications!

Eligibility

Young researchers (non-PI scientists, including graduate students) who are willing to give presentations at RIKEN BDR Symposium, regardless of nationality or age.

Subsidies

Subsidies for one of the following will be provided to successful applicants.

1. Overseas (economy class) or domestic travel expenses and accommodation expenses
2. Overseas (economy class) or domestic travel expenses
3. Accommodation expenses

*Flight arrangements must be made through RIKEN BDR appointed travel agency.
*If you plan to extend your stay for personal reasons, maximum of two days (excluding weekends) is allowable.
*Accommodation must be arranged independently, with a maximum reimbursement of 11,600 JPY per night. (including the day before and after the symposium period for participants from overseas).
