Jun Yoshino, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Developmental Biology at Washington University School of Medicine. He received his doctoral degrees from Keio University School of Medicine in Japan. After he completed residency and fellowship programs in Keio University Hospital, he served as a postdoctoral associate under supervision of Dr. Shin-ichiro Imai at Washington University School of Medicine. In 2012, he was named Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. His lab is engaged in translational studies and focused on studying the importance of adipose tissue biology in the context of obesity and metabolic disease.
