Jianping Fu

Jianping Fu is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Fu’s research focuses on Mechanobiology, Stem Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Bioengineering. Dr. Fu is the recipient of numerous research awards including the NSF CAREER Award and the BMES Rising Star Award. Dr. Fu's research on modeling human development using human pluripotent stem cells has contributed significantly to the emerging field of "Synthetic Embryo", which was selected by MIT Technology Review as “10 Breakthrough Technologies of 2018”. |
